Automatic setup
Most clients such as Outlook, Thunderbird, and Apple Mail can auto-detect settings after you enter your email address.
Use your full email address as the username. Enter your password only in your own email client sign-in form.

Outlook (Windows / Mac)
- Open Outlook → File → Add Account (Mac: Tools → Accounts → Add Email Account).
- Enter your full email address, then click Connect / Continue.
- If prompted for account type, choose IMAP.
- Enter your mailbox password and click Sign in.
- If server details are requested: service.mailserver.mn, SMTP primary 465 SSL/TLS, fallback 587 STARTTLS.
Apple Mail (iPhone / iPad / macOS)
- On an Apple device, enter your full mailbox email address in the box below.
- When the format is valid, tap/click Download Apple config file.
- Install from Settings → Profile Downloaded (macOS: System Settings → Privacy & Security → Profiles).
- Open Mail and enter your mailbox password.

Thunderbird
- Go to Account Settings → Account Actions → Add Mail Account.
- Enter name, full email address, and password.
- Click Continue, then Done when auto-detection succeeds.
- If needed, use Manual config: IMAP 993 SSL/TLS, SMTP 465 SSL/TLS (fallback 587 STARTTLS), then Done.
Gmail app (Android / iOS)
- Open Gmail → profile icon → Add another account.
- Choose Other, then enter your full email address.
- Select Personal (IMAP) and enter password.
- If prompted manually: IMAP service.mailserver.mn:993 SSL/TLS, SMTP service.mailserver.mn:465 SSL/TLS (or 587 STARTTLS).
Advanced (IT / Troubleshooting)
Most users can skip this section. Open it only if automatic setup fails and your IT team needs endpoint details.

Common mistakes
- Do not use only the part before @. Use the full email address as username.
- If SMTP uses 587, choose STARTTLS. If it uses 465, choose SSL/TLS.
- Confirm IMAP port 993 with SSL/TLS enabled.
Quick checklist
- If DNS was changed, confirm propagation is complete.
- Make sure client access is not blocked by security policy.
- Verify server hostname and port before re-entering password.
